Tumblr vs MEME by Yahoo!

While I was reading my feeds from Google Reader, I came across an entry that talks about MEME by Yahoo! Here is the direct link to the article from Pinoy Tech Blog. It is a lot like Tumblr.

So what is similar with Tumblr and MEME? Its like the compromise between blogging and microblogging. Let's say, you want to share a picture, video, link or whatever online, it will look nice. You can put each post like a status update on Plurk or Twitter, in form of a mini blog post.

You can make an account by simply logging in to you Yahoo! account and going to "http://meme.yahoo.com". What I find cool about MEME is that you can pull up your site using "me.me/". Cool, right? "me.me" for the win! Well, also like how the posts are displayed on the wall, icons are more minimalist and cleaner to look at.

But at the end of the day, I know I'm not willing to do MEME instead of Tumblr. Tumblr is more customizable and it lets you tweak your themes. Also, if you have a domain, it is easy to associate. Everything is just right there. If your not that versed in creating your own page design, Tumblr is the perfect fit. TUMBLR PA RIN!!
